Crystal Rush Mountain Bike Race
Michigan’s freshest XCO mountain bike race — fast laps, rider’s choice, and a course built to push your limits.
Race with us on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Crystal Mountain.
Crystal Rush is a brand-new spring mountain bike race at Crystal Mountain, bringing true XCO action to Michigan on a 3.1-mile(ish) lap packed with options and excitement. Part of the new Boundless Race and Ride Company Grand Prix, it will offer more than $2500 in cash prizes plus amazing awards.
Riders can choose their own adventure each lap: send it on the more technical A-line, or take the slightly longer, more traditional B-line down the mountain. Designed in collaboration with Kyan Olshove (yes, that guy), Rob Martin (Bike Life with Rob), and Earl Whitney (trail guru at Crystal), Crystal Rush delivers something fresh, fast, and seriously fun to the state’s MTB scene. With projected lap times as quick as 14 minutes, the finish line will be rocking from the opening lap to the final sprint.
We will have the same post-race party that you’ve come to know and love at Peak2Peak, so sign up today to be part of the inaugural Crystal Rush!
Race Location: Crystal Mountain Resort (12500 Crystal Mountain Dr, Thompsonville, MI 49683)
This Race is Included in the following series:
The Boundless Race & Ride Company Grand Prix presented by orsa credit union aims to find out who’s best across gravel and mountain in a head-to-head, dual-discipline showdown.
We are proud to be an expansion race of the Michigan Off-Road Championship, a series of races dedicated to getting more people out riding the trails we love.

Pricing & Info
Pricing
We get it—everything’s getting more expensive, including racing. Our priority is you. We never want cost to be the reason you skip a race, so we’re adding some money-saving options to make racing more accessible. See below for details.
Volunteer
Want to lower race costs? Volunteer!
At most Tris4Health and Boundless Race & Ride Company events, volunteering earns vouchers for future races. Choose a shift, register, and rack up vouchers—values depend on the role, and you can combine them at checkout.
Go Shirtless!
You have a lot of racing shirts. Don’t need another one? Select the shirtless option during the registration process to save $5. It’s not much, but it all adds up!
Refer a Friend
Do you have friends? Do they want to race? Refer 5 people to the race and we will refund you $20 automatically. It’s as simple as that. For instructions on how to use your referral links, please follow these instructions.
Automatic Discounts for Kids 19 and under
Ages 11 and under for $25, no tiers.
Ages 12-19 race for $35, no tiers.
We love seeing young athletes jump in—even when they’re faster than us. If you can, please register early; it helps us plan and avoid over-ordering swag.
Please note, kids 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult who can register for free by reaching out to us at: info@boundlessrr.co. The adult MUST register to be allowed on-course. If you are part of a team please let us know as it doesn’t need to be one-to-one adult to child. If you have a couple of people who want to sweep a team of kids we can make that work.
Team Discounts
Riding is better with friends!
Reach out for a team discount if you’re bringing a group of 5 or more! For full details of our team program, please visit this link.
"The Jon & John Life Sucks Scholarship"
Racing costs are up—you feel it, we do, too. If pricing is out of reach (job change, big family, waited too long to sign up, whatever), tell us what you can afford—even if it’s $0—and we’ll work something out. No judgment, no questions. We believe people are good and sometimes need a hand. We do reserve the right to limit free or reduced entries, but we’ve offered this for years at The Dirty Mitten without issues.
