GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (March 17, 2026) – Boundless Race & Ride Company, a premier producer of rider-focused cycling events in Michigan, is proud to announce a new partnership with the Susan Mast ALS Foundation. Effective immediately, Boundless Race & Ride Company will assume operational management of the annual PEDALS event.
While the event remains under the umbrella of the Susan Mast ALS Foundation to support its vital work with ALS families, Boundless will bring its logistical expertise to elevate the participant experience. Boundless is currently the home of major Michigan cycling events, including the KeyBank Gran Fondo, The Dirty Mitten Gravel Bike Race, and Peak2Peak.

Partnering with the Susan Mast ALS Foundation allows us to apply our operational experience to a beloved community tradition, ensuring a high-quality event for cyclists, runners, and walkers while helping drive maximum support for ALS patients.”
The PEDALS event is a unique multi-sport fundraiser offering a wide variety of distances and disciplines, including a 100k Iron Horse road ride, a 32-mile gravel ride, mountain bike courses ranging from 10 to 20 miles, and a 5k or 1-mile walk/run/roll.
Julie Snelling of the Susan Mast ALS Foundation expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. “By becoming a sponsor or participant, our community plays an integral role in our mission to ensure all ALS families have the support and resources they need,” said Snelling. “Partnering with Boundless Race & Ride Company ensures that the ride logistics are in expert hands. The 2026 PEDALS event is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Townsend Park in Cannonsburg, MI. Registration includes options for road, gravel, and mountain biking, as well as walking and running, ensuring inclusivity for all skill levels.

About the Susan Mast ALS Foundation: The Susan Mast ALS Foundation was founded on one simple belief: no family should face ALS alone. Since 2016, the Foundation has provided compassionate, practical support to ALS families across West Michigan during one of life’s most difficult journeys.
Through respite care funding, accessibility ramps, medical equipment from the loan closet, and support groups, the Foundation helps ease the daily burdens of the diagnosis. All funds raised stay local. At this time, the Foundation is serving more than 150 families in our community.
